Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Bondi collects, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights available to you.

Who we are

Bondi operates a creative collaboration platform that connects brands with creators through campaigns and collaborations. In this policy, "Bondi", "we" and "us" refer to the company operating the Bondi platform and this website.

This policy applies to the Bondi website, the Bondi platform, and any communication we have with you as a visitor, creator, brand user or applicant.

Information we collect

Account information: your name, email address, password credentials, account type (creator or brand), and any organisation details you provide.

Profile and portfolio content: biography, categories and formats you work in, links, images, videos and other work you upload or reference.

Campaign content: briefs, submissions, concepts, messages, feedback, ratings and files exchanged as part of a collaboration.

Transaction information: campaign fees, milestone records, invoices and payment status. Card and bank details are handled by our payment processors; we do not store full payment card numbers.

Usage information: pages viewed, features used, device and browser type, approximate location derived from IP address, timestamps and referring pages.

Communications: messages you send to support, sales or press, and your newsletter subscription preferences.

How we use information

To provide the platform: creating accounts, publishing campaigns, delivering submissions, enabling collaboration and processing payments.

To improve the platform: understanding which features are used, diagnosing problems and prioritising work.

To keep the platform safe: detecting fraud, abuse, spam and violations of our community standards.

To communicate with you: service notifications, campaign updates, and—where you have opted in—marketing or newsletter emails.

To meet legal obligations: accounting, tax, dispute resolution and responding to lawful requests.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to secure the service. With your consent we also use analytics cookies to understand aggregate usage.

You can control cookies through your browser settings and through any cookie preference control we provide. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the platform from working. See our Cookie Policy for the full detail.

Analytics

We use privacy-conscious analytics to measure page views, feature usage and performance. Analytics data is used in aggregate and is not used to build advertising profiles about you.

Where analytics rely on cookies or similar technologies that are not strictly necessary, we ask for your consent first.

Third-party services

We share information with service providers who process it on our behalf, including hosting and infrastructure providers, email delivery services, payment processors, customer support tools and analytics providers.

These providers may only use the information to deliver services to us, under contractual obligations of confidentiality and security.

We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing between brands and creators

When you submit to a campaign, the brand running that campaign can see your submission, your public profile and your reputation record.

When you publish a campaign, creators who can view it will see the brand identity you have chosen to display along with the brief content.

Messages and files exchanged inside a collaboration are visible to the participants of that collaboration and, where necessary for support or safety investigations, to authorised Bondi staff.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct inaccurate information, delete information, restrict or object to certain processing, receive your data in a portable format, and withdraw consent.

You can exercise most of these rights in your account settings, or by emailing privacy@bondi.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Data retention

We keep account and profile information for as long as your account is active.

Campaign records, collaboration history and transaction records are retained after account closure where we need them for legal, accounting, tax or dispute-resolution purposes—typically for up to seven years.

Support correspondence is retained for up to three years. Analytics data is retained in aggregate form.

When information is no longer required, we delete it or irreversibly anonymise it.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege staff access, logging and regular reviews to protect personal information.

No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities where the law requires it.

International users

Bondi is a global platform. Your information may be processed in countries other than the one you live in, including countries whose data protection laws differ from your own.

Where we transfer personal information out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Children

Bondi is not intended for people under 16 (or the minimum age required in your country, if higher). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact privacy@bondi.com and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the platform develops. When changes are material we will notify you by email or through the platform before they take effect. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.

Contact information

Questions about this policy or your personal information can be sent to privacy@bondi.com, or to hello@bondi.com for general enquiries.
